It's a good level of darkness. You can just barely make out the shape of the cat's head, but the eyes and whiskers are most important. Love the eyes :)

Thanks for the feedback - on this screen it looks ok - cat's face and ears are easy to see. But when i looked at it using other screen it seemed too dark.

Everything depends on the screen. Mine has the self-adjustment thing, so it tunes itself to what is displayed. However I checked some calibration stripes and it shows them really ok. Have a look at my ID section for the test picture.
